Cats Versus Dogs
It's an age old battle...although we all know who is the better pet ! So I just wanted to share WHY dogs are better than cats occasionally. Consider this the first of many comparisons !
So sure, make a few more dollars with a cat. You'll need it for all the medical problems you're going to have ! But with a dog, you get LOVE !

Cats can give as much love as dogs can do, in their own ways. Besides, there are therapic cats which helped a lot of depressed people ; so the medical problem thing argument is invalid.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention that almost every cats can take care of themselves while dogs mostly are very dependent of their owners : now, imagine that you're an old man/lady living alone with one of those pets. You'll get far more exhausted by the dog than by the cat, and so you'll tend more to be unhealthy with the dog than the cat. And so the medical issues will go along. So instead of "So sure, make a few more dollars with a cat. You'll need it for all the medical problems you'll going to have !", it's far more accurate to say : "So sure, you'll make a few more dollars with a cat and besides, when you'll be in your old days, you will enjoy both the dollars you got and the independant, but yet loving spirit of your cat ! But with a dog, you get no more dollars and you'll still have a pet constantly on your back when you'll be old because it can't take care of itself that much !"
So yeah, you should think about it.. and instead of trying to melt your pet's preferences with what pets are capable of (especially when you're making such judgements), you should more see that both cats and dogs have pros and cons that still make them both lovable. I love dogs, I prefer cats, but yet I know how to appreciate both of their qualities.
After, of course, it's your opinion and I respect it, though I just don't really appreciate people who throws dirt on things they don't like because they prefer something else. Just look out and appreciate the positive sides that things have in particular and enjoy, don't create useless conflicts of opposition with them. :)
